Sidewalk Repair
Village Charter and Ordinance 1-42 states that property owners are required to maintain the sidewalks in front of their developed property in a safe and repaired condition. Each year the Village Council selects an area of the Village to evaluate the current sidewalk conditions.
Renaming Village Streets
The renaming of Village Streets has far reaching effects on public safety and shall only be done in extraordinary circumstances. The following procedures shall be followed to identify and address any problems that a street name change may produce prior to any recommendation to the Village Council to adopt a requested street name change.
